Ann Sieg's Renegade Marketer System Launch Causes a Stir

The Renegade System launched on June 12th and has already caused quite a stir within the industry. I was fortunate to have been able to preview the contents and was very impressed with the depth of information and tools in place to help people learn how to market and truly become independent.

This is an advanced marketing system that people can utilize to generate leads and fund their marketing efforts, then after growing their business the principles taught in this system could really be applied to ANY business. So even though the ebooks are targeted to the Network Marketer, the principles could be utilized by any business person. In fact, Ann mentions that in her ebook, The Renegade Marketer.

The marketing principles are not new, it is how it is all put together that is unique and the fact that these principles are now available to network marketers. Unfortunately within the network marketing industry there is a tendency to mislead people that they don't need marketing or sales skills to build a successful business. This isn't always done intentionally, but it does cause much frustration for many network marketers beginning their businesses.

As Ann states in her ebook, The 7 Great Lies in Network Marketing:

"There’s a huge deficiency of proper sales training because if it’s not sales, then there’s no need for sales skills. As a result, people are thrown to the wolves totally unprepared to retail their products and their opportunity."

One of the things I found very interesting about this launch though is the stir it has already caused within the industry. In one of the emails prior to the launch we were warned that the ebooks and system would make people angry...very angry.

"Some (those TELLING these lies) will be angry because she is exposing them for what they really are. Other (those who have been lied to) will be angry when they discover the REAL truth that their uplines have been hiding from them all along."

Now I didn't think too much about it at the time, but what is interesting now is how true that statement is. I have seen sites and blogs that could easily give Ann justified reason to bring legal action against them for defamation of character, copyright infringement and more. The interesting thing about these heated torrents, blasting Ann and the Renegade system, is they just ramble on without really saying much other than hurl insults and lies.

The thing people need to be aware of is that all the sites I have seen that are negative and insulting toward Ann and the Renegade system have their own agenda and reason for their negativity - they don't want their own lies exposed and/or they are afraid of the competition.

Everyone I have talked with who has read the ebooks and gone through the system has had nothing but POSITIVE comments. In fact, I have heard so many people excited about how this information and system is going to help them and that this is the missing piece to the marketing puzzle they have been looking for.

I for one, am glad to have this information and system to help the people I am working with and have it as a resource to offer those who have been struggling or just beginning a business. I wasted a lot of time, marketing dollars and effort when I first got started. I know that if this information and system would have been available back then, over 6 years ago now, it would have made a HUGE difference in my success.

The great thing is though, you can judge for yourself. Just download the free ebook, The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing and see what YOU think.

This is a FANTASTIC system. It is not for the faint of heart. When I first read the ebook The Renegade Network Marketer then got to chapter nine and realized that there was a SYSTEM behind the book and then it was FREE I was blown away.

First to wrap my brain around all this information that was new to me was huge.. then to realize if I could understand the "concept" then learn what I needed to do to work the system that has been given to me for nothing.. well lets just say Im back at school and loving it!

You must be crazy when you are so excited about something that you take your laptop to bed and cant put it down until you get that "one more thing" done.

I will say this, I know how to be a Network Marketer, but I did have a vision of prospecting to the age of 80.. I had a feeling that there was a lot more to what the heavy hitters in the industry are doing but you just never know.

My feeling is that its not that it is such a big secret but that they have worked their behinds off and if they had to write down all they have done it would take immeasurable amount of time. Thats just what Ann did.. she wrote it down, put it all in one place, and gave it to me for the price of a book.

WOW! Back to my point though, I wouldnt disuade anyone from getting the book, and if you do nothing with the system that comes with it you still have a really well written and humorous book with a valid concept, but if you are ready to move to the next level of education and how to form multiple streams of income then strap on your glasses, brew a pot of coffee, sharpen your pencil and take your Ginko because your brain is going to get a workout and it will pay you over and over again.

Hey Wendy,

I have enormous respect for you as an upline leader within Send out Cards and also a fellow masterminder within The Works Team for the last two and a half years.

Yes, Monday was a sad day at Leaders Club.

So very many people were hurt. I especially feel for our upline leader, Curt Johnson, who poured three years into building his Leaders Club business to help fund his full time missionary work in Fiji. His family is up in the States for a few weeks. I hope he finds a way to connect up with them soon now that he had his entire May commissions taken away. He literally has no income now. I am reassured to see a fellow team member setting up a blog to help support his efforts.

And then there's my top producer Sherry Higdon who spent the last nine months building Leaders Club, some times putting in twelve hours a day pouring her heart and soul into her people. The loyalty of her people is coming back for her big time.

Her full time income was wiped out in a single day...not even receiving her May commissions! I hope her family is able to recover from this loss to pay their July rent.

My dear wonderful Nancy Christenson who put in her retirement notice two months ago, because she thought she had a stable income through Leaders Club, has to start all over.
Nancy's the type she wouldn't even know how to hurt a flea...

We were all in the CMC together and I am so grateful to Jeff Zalewski for all his training material.

How sad that even Jeff after eight years of pouring himself into Leaders Club lost his six figure income in one day!!

What’s awesome to know is there are organizations that advocate for distributors.
www.mlm-dra.org is a great one. I’ve spoken with several of the board members in the past few days: Rod Cook, Cheryl Gonzalez, Peter Mingils and Peter Arnold. Wow!! What a dedicated bunch of folks. Distributor abuse to these folks seems akin to child molestation. They don’t take too kindly to it, especially Rod.

I read an awesome thread the other day that really spells out what happened here and why people need to have their mlm as just one of their products and services…pretty much how it’s spelled out in The Renegade Network Marketer.

Read on…

There will always be companies that are "Reactionary".

They're "mind-stuck" and trapped in an obsolete paradigm or mindset.
They want to compete... but they're very mindset is stuck and has become
unwilling to adapt and change to the market or to ideas that are new...

So they react in these utterly stupid ways as a means of self defense.

We're in an industry that promotes open minds and entrepreneurial
thinking... Leader's Club used to be that...

But for some stupid reason... instead of staying entrepreneurial....
they seem to be thinking up ways to "protect" themselves...

They're not the only ones... and whatever company we see ourselves
promoting today... can very well fall into that mindset trap.

It's up to YOU to watch for things like this. It's happened to me
in the past where a company made changes or used some stupid
rule to try to influence, control or change successful distributors' actions...

It's sad but real.

These days you have to make up your mind quickly:

Are YOU the CEO of your own sales & marketing organization?

Or are you simply a commission only sales rep for some company and
their products & services?

BIG QUESTION.

These companies know that most distributors come from an employee mindset and
habits. They look for people that will get all "fired up" but will be controlable and they count
on you for your monthly product purchases and your marketing dollars and efforts.

If they can control you they will. It's easy for most people because it feels safe and secure.

TRUE entrepreneurs are very independent.

They learn the rules to building systems and businesses. And they are free
to build whatever they want. Good companies respect that. They value people
who can build teams and move volume.

It's really a good lesson to learn for people new to this industry.
It's good for them to see that this can happen. I've seen great marketers
get their entire organizations stripped from them for similar, stupid reasons.

Companies trying to assume that their "independent" distributors are actually just
employees... and you might think that as your team and volume grows... you're
more powerful... but the exact opposite is true...

The more dependent you are on ONE company for your check... the power THEY
have over you.

Specifically in an MLM comp plan where you're efforts are not really paid for
unless you invest time and money to build a group to give you residual income.

I let NO company control my business.

Matter of fact... they are just a small piece of my company. They are the vendors
I choose to promote based on product, leadership, and comp plan so that cash flow
is generated as I teach people marketing.

If any company steps out of line or makes negative changes I don't agree are in
my best interests or that of my team... THEY get fired. And I'm free to replace them.

See, it's a different mindset.

People must start to think like business owners and take responsibility for your
own company and the direction and goals you want to achieve with it... I mean,
without that.. it would be better to just get a good job and climb that corp ladder...

How can you kick out an "independent" distributor for excercising their right to
practice free enterprise?

It's idiotic and laughable and just does a tremendous amount to tell me just
how much trouble or how insecure that company is...

(direct response marketing is on fire and it's getting all those expensive
leads companies real paranoid... people are learning what's up...)

If they weren't focused on fear... they would figure out really quick that this
can be great for them! Everyone is looking for good traffic sources right?

Even the most successful builders I know are always open to a good traffic
or advertising source... these companies can really capitalize on this and fill
that demand...

But it's easier to sell overpriced junk to newbies and try to say they "help"...

Leaders Club

Let me reassure everyone. Leaders Club is a Professional Company. Once they heard Ann Seig, Christian and Curt Johnson was sending email to their down lines to have them enroll in another company they were let go from Leaders Club because they didn't follow the Leaders Club contract.

There are bad apples in every bunch. Curt Johnson was an up line to Ann Seig; Ann Seig was the up line to Christian Marquez. We have a list of who is our up line and down line so we can help them.

The Works Team was originally made to help people succeed in their Network Marketing Business. It was to help people in conjunction with Leaders Club.

There was no extra money to join The Works Team. If you were part of Curt Johnson's up line you automatically had access to the Works Team to help you build your business. They would help people build websites to promote themselves first. If they were able to create their own websites it could help them be more productive with any company they are promoting.

The Work's Team also gave more information on the data base system called ACT. That is a system that helps you keep track of leads. It is a very helpful tool no matter what business you are trying to promote.

There are some sponsors that are still learning and the other up lines is there to help us succeed with our businesses.

Leaders Club believes in helping people based on their wants and needs. If someone wants help with medical care and ask us for the information and then we can help them with it

Hope this helps

Wiseman1068,

You are obviously misinformed on some of the facts on Leaders Club. Leaders Club USED to be a professional company, or at least appeared that when the other WorksTeam leaders and I started promoting the training.

Curt, Ann and Christian, and all the other people Leaders Club terminated and having commissions stolen, did not send emails to encourage people to join another company.

Curt had an opt-in email that went out to people who were utilizing the WorksTeam calls and WorksTeam website to let them know of upcoming calls and webinar training. People were invited to training calls to help them in their business or introducing them to resources that could help with their primary business. Never were people sent emails encouraging them to join another company or leave Leaders Club. If they didn't want to receive these emails, all they needed to do was opt-out.

When Leaders Club blocked us all from our sites we simply emailed our subscribers to let them know we would not be able to service them since we no longer had access to our Leaders Club sites and that our commission checks had been withheld.

Leaders Club corporate would like to let you think that it was the fault of the WorksTeam leaders, but it is convenient to put the blame on the victims so that others don't notice their hypocrisy, paranoia and greed.

As for your statement, “Leaders Club believes in helping people based on their wants and needs. If someone wants help with medical care and ask us for the information and then we can help them with it”

The ironic thing is that Leaders Club corporate does not do the things they teach in their training. Perhaps that is because almost all the training in Leaders Club was really Jeff Zalewski's material. Jeff Zalewski was Leaders Club's National Director of Training, until he stepped down from that title due to some of the internal conflicts going on. On May 30th they terminated Jeff and then terminated over a dozen WorksTeam leaders and members in June. Since those were the people who were bringing in 80% of their business, I am afraid Leaders Club is in sad shape.

The WorksTeam are simply a group of people who were working together before even joining Leaders Club. We continue to provide support and training to those working with us, no matter their primary business. As you can see, we are moving on and still helping people to be successful in their chosen businesses. http://www.theworksteam.com
